Hi All,

Was watching some of the great north run on tv yesterday and Nell McAndrews was doing it but they said that it has just been confirmed that she is pregnant.

Is that not dangerous??

I don't think so.
The main thing with strenuous exercise when pregnant is you're not supposed to do it if your body is not used to it.
If she's been traing for months then I suppose it won't be a shock to the system.
I work in a gym and we have mums doing "body pump" which is a class using weights to music! I never use the gym so I won't be doing any of that!

My doctor told me the same thing-that it is o.k. to do the amount of exercise you were used to prior to getting pregnant.

When my hubby and I got back in the car we chuckled and agreed that I couldn't do any exercising as I was used to doing none   .
