Just a quick question. My sister took a pregnancy test that she bought from the dollar store for a dollar. It said she wasn't preg. but she is 11 days late. What does the sensitivity of these tests mean> hers was somthing like 25mIU/mL
25mIU/mL is not as strong as one like 10mIU/mL, the lesser the number the stronger it is. its the amount of HCG that needs to be in the uirine for it to show positive. I would reccomend a few web sites which have cheap tests but your in america arent you?? Failing that - id buy a Clearblue - they always seem to work the best when your period is already that late. Tell her good luck and I hope she gets the result she is after! xx
