Pre-Conception / Fertility Lubricants - has anyone here used these? Just wondered if they were any good, if they helped at all?

Yet again, AF has reared her ugly little head. Disappointed & frustrated, I want to try a specialised lubricant, anything that may help us conceive.

Are there any particular brands that anyone can recommend? I know Boots sell Sasmar, so I may try that unless there are better out there?

Hi there, I used Sasmar Conceive plus for the first time this month. I got the one with the pre filled applicators. It is very nice to use and not sticky at all. Makes BDing all that more enjoyable IMHO. It didn't work for me, BUT we were only able to DTD the next 2 days after a positive opk so think I missed the egg anyway this time.

I WILL be using it again this time and would highly recommend you give it a go! Got great reviews and if nothing else, at least you could say you tried it? Got nothing to lose right?

Preseed from Amazon. FYI its quite gloopy stuff. It says use 3ml in the applicator but I only used 2ml otherwise would have been swimming in the stuff.

Cheers all! Might go with Sasmar, but not sure whether to go for individual applicators or the 75ml tube?

Hey hun! I use the Conceive + from boots, i was like you and didnt know what one to use so compaired it with Preesed and after reading up on them both decided that Conceive + sounded better but I think they all help so FX what ever one you go for it works for you! :) x

I used the one with prefilled applicators...BUT only cos it was my first time using them. You will be more economical buying the tube and getting a medical syringe (without the needle.........lol) to sploosh it up there! Like the others have said, don't put the recommended amount, just use a bit less. I only use probably half of what's in the applicator and have to bin the rest cos you can't keep it.

also before i use each applicator, I pour boiled water over it cos I didn't find it hygienic not knowing how they had been packaged etc. But with the medical syringe you can just sterilise it after each insertion lol

You will get bags more for your money with the tube (which is what I'm getting this time) but I still have 4 out of 8 applicators left.
