hi girls iv got a horrid dry cough, its keeping me awake all night i get them quite bad and last yr i left it thinking it would get better but it got worse and worse any idea what medicine i can have? iv got cold like symtoms too blocked nose bungy head. i feel like crap am stuck in work 8am-6pm then i have to go home to look after my 9month old baby with a bad cough and cold urghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! she dont sleep i dont sleep its a nightmare

wen i was preg b4 im sure they said i couldnt have cough medicine not to sure thou,,,,

any one no????

Hi Dionne,

I had a bad cough/cold and the pharmist gave me a lingtus to sooth it.

Just check when you purchase it in the chemist and they will advise if it is ok to use.

i hope it helps i usually av bronxil mixer that horrid black cough medicine lit ulways wrks but dont think il b able 2av it if im preg

 

Good old paracetomol is definately okie (which is a load of poop I know).

But as sarah said - try you pharmacist. If you ring your local one he/she may be able to tell you over the phone if you can take the medicine you have got. There are few and far between things though.
