Hi there ladies

congratulations on your pregnancies, i just have a quick querie really. I am late for my period by 12 days now, I have a lot of discharge the problem however is the fact that all my tests are negative. I must have done at least 5 now, and they are all negative. I did an opk however and got a positive on that. Im so confused.


were any of you in the same boat??

Could you possibly get a blood test done? I had a positive OPK and was pg but was also getting + pg tests as well. Were you TTC or on birth control as sometimes that can affect your cycle?

Hi, the positive OPK ould be leading to a BFP. I would either keep testing or wait a few days or so then test. Good luck.

Hey, thanks for the advice, yeah we have been ttc, don't believe in birth control. I'm so lost 13 days late today and all my husband can say is to wait untill my next missed period. Clearly doesn't see how its driving me mad lol. Thanks for everything xXx

i would suggest going to the doctors and getting a pregnancy blood test done as that will give you a deffinate possitive or negative. It will also enable you to stop anticipating and actually getting a resukt

Thanks Teenmum 17, I know that is the best idea, the only thing holding me back is that when my sister got pregnant she was 8 weeks before she found out as it wasnt showing on urine or blood tests. urgh. thanks for the advice xxx

what test r u doing? i did first responce came back possitive but when i did the cheap ones they all come back negative x

I think some times it can depend on the test your taking. As my first one i took was clear blue and if gave me bfn but first response gave me bfp. xxx

Hi chick, Iv never used an OPK so im unsure! However iv always swore by the reveal pg test strips. Good luck hope you get a BFP soon xxx

i have used clear blue, FR, and several other ones, they have all come back negative. still no period however.

Hi, I did all cheapies and they were so faint I wasn't sure if it was evap line! Did a cb digital and it came up
Positive 1-2 weeks! As it's in writing there's no 'is there isn't there' a line!

As I was very early it picked up the pg better than the cheapies!

They do cost more but worth every penny xxxx

You could just have a low HGC level, happened to some1 on here, didnt show on a test untill about 8 or 9 weeks pregnant. x

yeh i was about to say levels might be low try a full day just drinking water and try a test the next morning and i hope you get the result you want x
