Hi There, Im 18 and for the last 2 weeks ive not been feeling myself, a few weeks ago i missed one of my contraceptive mini pills, i have been getting back aches, sudden severe headaches, my nipples hurt, i have lot of mucus in my vagina at times, ive also started getting upset over random things, i am always tired during the day and cant seem to sleep at night nomatter how hard i try. i have been with my boyfriend for 2 and a half years, and he doesnt mind if i am pregnant but i am quite worried. Ive not taken my contraceptive pill for the last 2 weeks as i fear im pregnant and there isnt much point taking it if i am. I dont really mind if i am pregnant but the only problem is my mother, both of my sisters became pregnant at 17 and my mum is relieing (is that how u spell it? lol) on me to have a successfull career, which i will wheather i have a child or not. please help im not sure if these are symptoms or if there is something else wrong with me. many thanks. xxx

Hi

Are you late for your period ? or is it due soon?
If you are coming up to when you normally have your period then i would test if it dont come its the only real way to knwo for sure hun.
I wish you all the best and keep us posted i became pregnant with my first at 18 :)

same as Katrina really hun, if your period is late or soon then a test is the only way you are going to be 100% sure weather you are pregnant or not.
as for your mum, im sure you love her but if you are pregnant and you decide to have the baby then its going to be your choice, and its not like you will never get a good career. im sure theres parents on this site that still have jobs and have made a success of themselves.
you maybe young but you will be a fab mummy, i was only 14 when i had my 1st :)
keep us posted and let us now how you get on
