Hi all, ages away I know but it's just popped into my head so thought I'd ask now.

OK if you express how can you store it in the fridge? How long does it last for?
Can you mix batches?
If you freeze it how long does it last for? How do you defrost?

Thanks clueless!

There's a "6, 6, 6 rule" - 6 hours at room temperature, 6 days at the back of the fridge, 6 months in the freezer. I'm fairly sure but not 100% that you can add freshly pumped milk to milk in the fridge or freezer but you want to note the date of the oldest milk and go by that. It's best to store milk in just a few ounces anyway to reduce waste :)

Thanks so much, why the back of the fridge and not middle / door etc

You store it at the back as that's the coldest area of the fridge
