Pill and ovulation

You know when you are on the pill? Do you still ovulate? I'm on cilest and have been on it for again for about 2 months. I'm sure I'm ovulating but I thought the pill stopped all that mallarky?

Help!!! I don't wanna get pg again yet!!

no, you should definitely not be ovulating!

The pill works by tricking your body into thinking it's pregnant, if you're ovulating, something is amiss!

Have you been on any medication recently? or did you forget one perhaps?

no I always remember to take it and I've always taken my medication with my pill. Maybe I'm just having a feel a bit hot day? I've got some ovulation sticks from when I was TTC. I might pee on one later.
