Period problems postpartum

I had my little girl august 2019. I still have not gotten a period. I have spotting every few months when I’m supposed to have my period but that’s it. It lasts a couple hrs and stops again for 2-3 months. Has anyone else experienced this???

ps: I breastfed for the first 6 months

I think you should speak to your doctor, as that’s not normal. Sounds like you may not be ovulating.
