When I was out earlier I got some really strong period type pains. It might be because I've had quite a busy week, doing lots of running around and maybe I've overdone it or I was thinking it could be more stretching pains - I have had another growth spurt I think, and hubby reckons bump has popped another little bit. Anyone else getting this and is it normal?

xx

I get it occasionally when I've had a busy day... Blooming crippling!! I think they're stretching pains but I haven't spoken to mw yet... If you're worried probs worth doing so... xx

Yes I get it to jen, especially if I have been out, and been standing up for a while! I got it last time I was pregnant with brooke, midwife said it was where baby was lying or putting pressure on a nerve which what was giving me the pain, was ok after having a rest!

It has eased now, I just panicked a little earlier as I thought, ahhhh what is that pain? And thought, surely it's way to early for braxton hicks...! Think I've just done too much this week and I said to hubby earlier that I reckon things will start to get harder now as bump gets bigger and I get tireder easier - chilling my pants tonight x

Yeah - i've been getting them too and getting a bit freaked out when I do. They don't last too long but are bloody painful! Maybe it is a way of gently introducing us to what things will be like of B day!!!!

I had these pains again today, it feels like my bump is aching if that makes sense... it passed after a while and I have been walking round again ALL day so maybe I'm just achy from carrying around the extra weight... Will keep an eye on it x

I had this a few days ago too, I got a bit worried but after a bath and a lie down it went away :) I'm sure it's something to do with walking/standing about alot hun. I've started to feel much more achey pains in my back and feet too so I suppose the extra weight we're carrying now will be affecting everything too x

Glad you're ok!! I get them from time to time - I put it down to stretching cos the uterus is being stretched by baby. I also have damn work stress at the moment so that sometimes brings it on :(
Take it easy lovely lady xxx

Thanks ladies :)

Had it again yesterday when we were out - just like really achy period pain in my lower back & in my bump, was really uncomfortable & had to sit down for a few mins. Was OK after a little rest but scared me a bit, have a list of things (to help me chill) of what it could be:
- Stretching; baby has had a growth spurt in the last couple of weeks from 6.5in to 10.5in
- Lower ligament pain (but don't know enough about this)
- A friend suggested it could feel like period type pain as this could be when I would normally be due on
- I did a lot of walking on Tues, Fri & Saturday so could be that I've overdone it
- *Ahem* constipation...!

I have felt baby kick every day so I am not too worried and I felt him quite a bit today as I've been doing lots of resting and chilling and watching trashy TV :) x

I get this when walking around too much as well, oh and i agree with the eh hem constipation part too!

ah the joys of pregnancy :) x
