i am in a lot of pain :(

its probably gonna sound silly, but sometimes the smaller injuries hurt the most dont they

firstly, i have a burn on my hand, it goes across three knuckles, where my straighteners slipped out my hand before and my hand caught their fall with 3 fingers slipping between the plates
i have a juicey blister coming up on one knuckle already it looks like a pair of lips!

then, millie had hold of a booklet- u kno the type banks send sometimes with ur statement- REALLY sturdy paper almost card-like- she was waving it around and somehow jabbed the VERY SHARP corner of it right into the middle of my eye- which i didnt even blink in time poked me right in my eyeball
i was seriously worried at first it *felt* like it went in my pupil i thought my sight might actually be damaged  but after about 20 minutes the pain subsided enough so i could open it and iv looked around and it seems ok, and its not bleeding or anything.

but it hurts! my eye and my hand really really both hurting me very much at the moment.

now i wont go taking any t r a m a d o l (if i wasnt pregnant that would be PERFECT tho!) but i do have some co-codamol in. is it ok to take one? or just half a one even? paracetamol is rubbish it wont even do anything (not that we have any in anyway! 'cept millie's calpol!)

Have definitely heard co-codamol is okay but really not sure about dosage.

oh thanx, thats good to know for future reference. however, since i posted, i'd put millie to bed and tidied up her toys and now the pain has eased loads, still hurts but doesnt really warrant a painkiller :)

What's the strength of your co-codamol Trix? If it's the 8/500 then I'd say you were fine. If it's the 35/500's I'd give them a miss and stick to plain old paracetamol i'm afraid!

Yeah - don't take big daddy co-codamol (30/500) they make you pure flee! Imagine poor bubs!
