painful ankles

    my ankles are really painful like a really painful cramp they arnt particullaly swollen they just hurt i live in flip flops. any ideas why they hurt or how to stop it? xx

    Maybe a strain on your ligaments from the extra weight and/or because all our ligaments relax. Ask your mw next time you see her hun xxx

    Mayb just keep them up high and also try keeping them cool iv just invested in a 2.99 paddle pool from Argos to put my feet n ankles in x

    it could be because im on my feet all day looking after my LG. if i lie on the sofa with them up its not as bad wil mention to midwife though thanks xx

    Def get some really good walking shoes and wear them even in the house, it will help tremendous. Also try to eat foods with Manganese. Manganese helps to relax your muscles. Sweet potatoes, dark chocolate, sunflower seeds, spinach, cherries, walnuts etc... all have it in them.
