pain in bum (literally)

Got out of the car today an got about 5 steps when I got sharp pains up my bum
Sorry tmi lol. Still have a continuous dull ache/pressure.
I'm not constipated as I've been several times today.
Ne one else in the same situation?
Ne ways to stop r get rid of it.
I'm sure its all to do with my groing uterus.

Hi,

It sounds like sciatica my friend really suffered with it in pregnancy . Some people get it as well who have back problems such as slipped disk.

Classic sciatica as I have it mine is because of a protruding disc but it could be the pregnancy causing pressure on your sciatic nerve. It is usually just on one side. I have a numb left leg and lessened reflexes at times. If you have problems passing urine or bowels you need to seee DR ASAP.

I had this early on and tri hopping to unfortunately say it gets worse. I think I have pgp. I'm going to ask my dr about it or midwife next time I see them. It's only my left buttock and just under that. I sleep on my side with a pregnancy pillow and have since 10 weeks. Nothing has helped but a smal price to pay

I agree, sounds a lot like sciatica. One sufferer to a possible other!
