pain around belly button?

Since yesterday afternoon I've had pain around my belly button on and off. Any ideas what it could be? Stretching pain?

For some odd reason I'm feeling really paranoid again this week - maybe because the scan is three weeks away.

Hey! Yeah it could well be growing and stretching pain. I have quite a bit Hernia from my last pregnancy that sticks out my belly button that hurts and it's quite tender now so I'll have to have that operated on I reckon once baby is here xx

Argh sounds painful! Will keep an eye on mine just in case it's something similar. It's not like terrible pain, just quite noticeable and uncomfortable. Xx

I completely forgot about this crazy pain. I had belly button pain in Tri2 as well. I found it eased if i lifted my belly up. I did also have a bout wherebit felt like baby was pole dancing under my belly button. It was the most unusual/pajnful/weird sensation ever.

I felt tugging and like burrowing at my belly button, quite a weird pain.

But yes Ive had it on and off so must be growing related.

I tried googling it but only others experience came up, no actual reason that I could find..

Yeh I started googling too but then hubby saw what I was doing and took my phone off me haha - I'm terrible for spending hours self diagnosing on doctor Google! Haven't had it yet today so perhaps it was just stretching.
Don't want to stretch too much as have to fit into a bridesmaid dress on may 21st! :-/ xxx

I've had them pains before in previous pregnancies could be usual ligament pain but mine was pain from a UTI. Have you got any other symptoms?

Nope no other UTI symptoms and the ache has stopped now so thinking it was just stuff growing all sorts of weird aches and pains in pregnancy aren't there! Xxx
