Ovvy Sticks Advice Please!!!!

Ok so heres the deal....

Came off the pill a few weeks ago only had one bleed and that was my withdrawal bleed from the pill. My cycles 'were' 28 days (the last time I was off the pill and obviously that could all change now) and I started testing with OPKs on sat, day 9 of cycle.

Sat - No Line
Sun - Very, very very faint mark.
Mon - Faint line (but no where near as dark as the control line)

And today, ive tested again and nothing!!!! Ive tested twice and not even the hint of a line.

Im really confused. If I was due to ovulate around wed, thurs surely it would be getting darker?

I know this is probably a waste of time cos ive only just come off the pill, but I wanted to start testing this month just to see if I am ovulating.

Any advice welcome thanks ladies

aqre you testing once a day? mabe you oved during that time it's easy to miss your lh surge

Well yesterday I tested at about 9 then again about 11...I didnt think to test in the evening?

Just weird how it went from no lines on sat, then a line yesterday (but not strong) now nothing!

hmmm but it sounds to me that you did ov but didn't test when you had the lh surge if you know what i eman also its best to test from 10am onwards so mabe test at 2pm then later in the evening? thats what i planned to do

You're best to test around 2pm then again at 6pm, its so easy to miss your surge hun

Thanks you two, im hoping its just cos I missed my surge but il test again tomo, if its still blank then I know ive definately ovulated is this right??

I do hope I did miss the surge...I BD'ed last night anyway just to be on the safe side

Well today I have had nothing again, not even a hint of a line. Its so weird as I thought id probably ovulate today tomorrow, but there is just nothing there.

Do you think that I did ovulate on Monday, even though the line wasnt as dark as the control line? It was there then and now gone

Hi, there is a possibility you have missed the surge. Or maybe you didnt ovulate this month? Its impossible to say really. The tests i have done have always had a really dark line and last month managed to catch it so the line was darker than the control line. Even when the test has dried out and its week later i can still see the line like it was when i did the test (though it dries to a slightly different browny red colour!) Ovulation when it starts can be over in minutes so its hard to catch it....

aww hun i had the same problem with the OPKs i can't get on with them. well done for Bding though hopefully got that egg x good luck
