Ovulation spotting?

Hi ladies I've just noticed something today I'm on cycle day 18 and I had some spotting so I checked my phone app for last cycle and I had spotting on day 18 aswell, I just assumed at the time it was ovulation spotting but then I didn't seem to ovulate that month. Has anyone experienced ovulation spotting before? I just wondered how common it was?xx

Can't say I have, get quite a sharp pain though!!

Yes I get it, but only just realised in the last few months. Theory says it's either the egg bursting through the folicle or a result of mild contractions that move the egg down through the tubes. Amazing eh!

So do you think it's nothing to be concerned about then? How long does yours last megsmeadow?x

Totally normal, but not everyone experiences it, and may change from cycle to cycle. Mine usually lasts a day but I could quite easily miss it if I wasn't aware that's what it was.

Mine seems to be a little heavier it was just when I wiped once on Monday (sorry if tmi) but today seems to be more xx
