ov or...? - updated

Is it possible that the stretchy ewcm i had on Saturday & Sunday was actually DH semen from when we BD on the Friday morning and not ov as i thought? Based on a 28 day cycle it would have been around the right time for ov but since then had lotion like cm then yesterday finger test showed lots of cm which was very stretchy - today just creamy lotion again!!!

Help!!!!

It is difficult sometimes to distinguish between semen and EWCM - after all they are both there to do the same thing (carry and support sperm) and so are very similar in nature.
If you aren't sure whether your CM is indicating ov or not then OPKs might be a good idea - I recall you had a longer cycle last month so you might not have ovd yet - if that was semen on sat and sun and not EWCM - you dont want to miss it so OPKs might help you learn to distinguish between the 2 things?
