Honest opinion is that Trixie sounds like a dog's name to me. No offense meant at all - I know of several dogs called it.
I really, really like Violet and would use it myself, but OH won't.

Much prefer Violet, Trixie is more of a pets name IMO (although my cat is an Amber and I wanted to use that if we had a girl )

Yes , working in kennels we get some really random dog names!

Not heard of a dog Trixie though - but good to know.

Thanks Ladies, have had no new names yet. But Violet actually seems to be sticking. OH is after Trixie though.

So it maybe Violet Trixie John, no new thoughts on boys names yet, boys manes are so difficult
