Ouch are BH supposed to hurt?

I have been having tighenings for a couple of weeks now but the last few nights they have begun to hurt....

Today I did far too much - spent all day at the shops finishing off the stuff we need for the baby and I am in agony - the pains are coming every 15 mins or so and my tummy goes really tight - I have had a bath and taken some paracetamol and they are still coming. I'm sure I have just over done it but ouch they really hurt.... are they supposed to actually be painful?????

I had really painful BH's to the point I didn't know when labour started

I never had any with Brody and only had a couple this time so far. They just felt uncomfortable.

I cant comment hun as this is my first experience of tightenings etc..........but hope you are feeling ok today?

i have been having these the past few nights too and they hurt ALOT almost to the point i ended up in hospital on sunday night because the NHS 24 doctor thought i was in labour was told that its normal today at a check up and scanned so im guessing they can be painful yes
