Oscar has arrived!!!

Baby Oscar finally made a grand entrance into the world on 29th December at 2.44am. It seemed a long and painful labour with gas and air, but worth all the agony!
Here's a couple of piccies, but will post a few more later on.

Oops - forgot to mention that his weight was 3.4 kgs. Not sure how much in lbs & oz. Oscar was meant to be a water birth, but I had to step out to deliver him because his umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck. I delivered him standing up and onto the bed infront of me. His been lovely and very content. Feeds brilliantly too. Only thing - I don't know how I managed a nearly 7 hour labour on only gas and air. It was complete agony and take my hat off to all future mommies considering a "pain-relief free" labour!!!!!

Well, our sons have one week difference!!!! He looks absolutely gorgeous but I have to say he looks similar to Thomas ( shame DH does not want his baby's pic on the internet!!! , cannot even show my boy off )
