OPK question?

Hi Guys!

New here TTC baby no.2! hope you're all well?

I have just purchased some OPKS (never used them the first time round) I'm waiting to finish my last week of contraceptive pills before obviously discontinuing them and TTC.. my question about the OPKs is, would they still be showing a positive around ovulation whilst your on the pill? I mean if I were to start using them this following month (after stopping the pill) and they were positive does that means Ive started ovulating straight away - I know it can sometimes take a few months for your cycle to regulate again?

Yes I’m pretty sure you don’t need to wait - can use them right away and they should pick up if/when you’re ovulating. Cycles can take a bit of time to regulate, but if you’re having periods you’re generally ovulating, it just might be at different times than you’d expect at first.
