Well had to have a gtt test today as my dad and nan have diabetes. Anyway after starving since 10 last night I went to path lab at 8.45, had first lot of blood taken then was given a glass of lucozade. I had 5 mins to drink it. After drinking it I felt odd and then I threw it all back up in the yellow clinical bin and promptly passed out. They sent me to day assessment unit to relax and have bp taken etc. Failed the gtt test lol how embarrassing x

Bring your own flat bottle of lucozade next time the bubbles in 5 minutes were a nightmare I was burping all over the place. Feel better soon!
