for the first time this pregnancy, the SPD flared up over the weekend so I've been told to rest. Taking 2 weeks off so seeing the doctor thursday

I have been signed off from week 12 with SPD and have been told due to my work (with children and so very active) I will be signed off until I start my maternity leave.

My sicknote ran out today so I should by rights be back at school... but WHAT A SHAME it's the Christmas holidays

I'm not going to be able to manage a working day by the time I go back in January, I will be so used to being a lady of leisure!

Don't feel guilty about it, if you need the time off you need it, but you shouldn't feel any guilt. Get plenty of rest and put your feet up.
