OMG- sod's law.

Well last night after 139 days, my AF arrived...... and my appointment for a scan at the hospital is on Monday. Grrrrrrrrrrrr. I can't believe that after over 4 months it has started just before the appointment I've been waiting for for ageeessss.

Does anyone know what I should do. I'm guessing they won't do a scan when on AF?? There's a small chance that I'll have stopped by then but after my last 135 day cycle I was on for 8 days. I'm having awful thoughts about being put to the back of the queue again and having to wait another couple of months. Has this happened to anyone else??

is your appointment to see a dr too? if so i would say go. if not i'd give them a ring and see what they advise

is it a tv scan i.e internal? when i got my letter through with the details it said it can still be done during af and for people with long/irregular cycles sometimes this was necessary so do not panic- i'm sure they will still do it. even though af has turned up it sounds as though there is still a problem- ur cycles should not be that long. make sure u still go to the appointment. is there a number u can call to discuss it? if there is i would recommend u call and let them know the situation but if they can't just delay it a few days i would personally just stick with the original appointment- as i said they can still do everything. found this online:

just wanted to add that its good news really that af has turned up- u can start this new cycle afresh with all the advice from the experts. hope all works out well monday
