Def watch it, it's definitely eye opening lol although don't watch it while eating !! :) x

Its pretty interesting, but its a bit extreme for me. xxx

Watching it too - but that first girl and her figure and no stretch marks - what??? Made me feel bad especially because I did the dreaded scales today!!!!!

I also thought it was a bit upsetting that woman saying you can't be as close to your baby if you've had a c-section or anything, that's just not fair and completely untrue!

I agree! People can't always help having a c section and I'd be gutted if people think I'm less of a mum because I HAD to have one! Along with my mum, as I nearly died!

Just finished watching it on catch up, can't stand those adverts! Strangely watching one born every minute doesn't scare me too much as I'm aware every woman deals with the pain in a different way. I am sacred about the baby getting stuck though that's just awful. I thought all the girls did well and I look forward to my little chips birthday, I've waited soooo long to see her xx ;)

Its totally and utterly rediculous - my mum had a c-section and i cant imagine being any closer to her. Crikey my mum was the first person i told id lost my virginity!!! xxx

Her body was amazing tbh not quite sure of her parenting style, I def think children need to socialise outside the family circle!

The other lady was talking out her backside!!! How can a c section effect your relationship, do you remember your birth cause I certainly can't ! What does she want women to do let their baby die and call it natural selection!!!! She had no right saying such upsetting comments!!! Also she mentioned all the toxins in the body because of drugs isn't that the same with epi, gas and air etc?
Stupid woman!!!!!!!

Standing off soap box now :)

OBEM scared the bejesus out of me....i was fine til the baby got stuck.........me potentially going to give birth to a 'big un' i was just terrified...what if boo boo gets stuck!!!

anyway, what will be will be....its got to come out somehow...oh god.

she was def a good advert for a epi though......xx

I'm about to watch OBEM on catch up.

But for now I'm watching Maternity Ward on Really, all them Americans have Epidurals and everything else and are a lot quieter LOL.

Watching it now. Just on 3rd part. That first birth was blumin amazing. I hope for a water birth. God knows what I'll be like with the pain though. Time will tell.xx

I get so teary when blokes cry. I just know my hubby will. He is such a big softie!xx

I hope everyone doesnt decide for a water birth now ive had mine planned for months but there is only one pool and i bet i dont get it!
It did make me cry when the baby got stuck - when i know im having a big one! :S x

I was actually feeling really positive about my own birth and know its gonna hurt like hell but after watching that other woman I felt a little panicky. I keep saying to myself everyones different and copes with things differently and she seemed scared from the offset where i wasent feeling scared so im trying to get my mind set back to that!

I guess that's due to her first birth being traumatic. Poor love. She did well considering.xx

I think every woman deals with things the best way she can. And I understand if you've had a traumatic 1st birth and then you're trying to deliver a 10lber, you might be pretty panicky.

My MW just told me I am having a natural, gas and air, water-birth (I wasn't given a choice as I'm healthy and the consultant led part of the hospital is insanely busy here). I don't really mind as I'm willing to try everything and not ruling anything out. But after watching last night I'm really worried that my husband now thinks my labour will be as lovely, quick and quiet as that first woman's... I think I would scream if I was making noise and he decided to tell me how well she coped! LOL

Oh i was out last night, going to watch it tomorrow, sounds like it was a good one! xx
