Ok here goes please be honest I can take it!!

    I have always said that I wouldnt tell a soul the planned names for our baby, but now I need some reassurance and honest opinions....

    So please tell me what you think of our chosen names:

    Thomas Harry
    Amelia Rose

    :shhh: dont tell anyone :lol:

    I love them both, Thomas and Amelia were both on our shortlists :D
    They are names that will suit baby throughout life and not go out of fashion.

    love both of those, very traditional boys name is a proper wee boys name and the girls name is so pretty

    TBH i think the traditional names will be the more unusual names in the future

    I have an Aimee Rose, so obviously I think that's wonderful :D

    Have to say I'm not so sure about the boys name though. Are you going to shorten it to Tom? Because if it's Tom Harry it makes me think of Tom, Dick and Harry.........

    I hadnt thought of the Tom Dick and Harry thing but we arent planning on shortening it - do u think it still might be a problem being Thomas Harry??

    No it wouldn't, honestly. I doubt very much you'd use the two names together that often.

    I use Aimee Rose quite a lot, because it just trips off the toungue, but we never refer to our other two kids by both their names...... :hug: :hug:

    Like muppetmummy, both names were on our shortlist too.

    I think Thomas is a fantastic name and I think it goes really well with Harry.

    Amelia Rose is just absolutely gorgeous :hug:

    I love both
    Amelia is a lovely name and i like Thomas too
    My name is Sarah and Jane as a middle name
    But ive never been called Sarah Jane as a double by anyone
    I didnt think tom aharry when i saw your name for boy
    So both our great :D
