Work asked him and some others to travel up to Preston at the end of next week to visit a client, as its two weeks before Im due he refused to do it and will be going into the office and carrying out some video conferencing instead.
It wouldnt be so bad if it were a few weeks ago or even in a few weeks once the baby has settled but what would happen if he were away and I went into labour?
Also just before xmas they decided to cut down their expenses and part of this was cutting travel costs, instead of paying them to drive to Preston (or even car share) they were expected to go via train. If he were to go via car its approx 225 miles and apparently would be around a 4 hour drive and via train it would be 5 hours with 2-3 stops.
