Just watched a birth video on you tube... i shouldnt have done it!!

Holy crap im terrified!!

Please can someone show me where the stop buttin on pregnancy is!!

I want a c section!!

I did that and freaked myself out a ton of times, watch a waterbirth one now and youll be like Ahhhh thatsss better !

DO NOT WATCH THE JAPANESE ONES !

Those i will NEVER forget, well i watched 2 and they pretty much scarred me for life !

I watched one on Youtube. If you type in natural water birth it should bring up a girl in a bath in a bikini. You should try that one, its the only one I've watched in full. It might help. She just grunts and the baby pops out. I want to do it like that!

I tried to watch others but they all freaked me out. xx

Not one birth is the same, try not to get freaked out by watching you tube. I've watched quite a few and comparing them to my own birth experience's non of them were similar

Just started watching them this week and I have made myself really upset so my OH has banned them!!! I just dont know how I will cope!!!!!!

I too am banned from watching birth videos! I saw two, one water birth and one hospital bed birth - the water birth looked awful, the poor mum looked so tired and the hospital one was better and quicker. Either way I think, as said earlier everyone's different. I am still having panic moments though as I keep thinking, how am I going to be strong enough to keep going for hours??? I was thinking of drinking lots of Lucozade or something! IS anyone else planning on doing that? Also, I keep having these awful moments thinking I won't be able to take the pain and I'll collapse and pass out.

during my nurse training i saw some vaginal births and caesareans

i was much more horrified by the c-section than the vaginal births (including the ventouse delivery i saw)

the sections just looked brutal!!!!!

oh hun, I know exactly what you mean (theres no way I'm watching any!)

With Evie my friend had a pregnancy and birth book and I was like 'I'm not looking, I'm not looking" - she left the room and I took a sneaky peak, I tell you those birth photos freaked me out
