Oh crap the scar got infected

Oh bloody hell its so sore, its all yellow and manky, what the bloody hell am i doing worng guys, ive followed all instructions, its never bloody ending, been to the docs for some anti biotics so just started them, anyoe else had to suffer with this poo too

yep hun really bad the second time round! Had to get my bandage changed every other day it was awful. I never did anything wrong, i think its just one of those awful things! I used to clean my scar every day and would lie on my bed for a little while everyday to make sure it got some air. I also got my oh to dry it for me after shower, so i knew it was dry proberly after wards! Hope your feeling better soon darling xx

Me too, I had an infection and had to have 2 lots of antibiotics, it was really painful too and walking was very hard for a while. It definitely took me longer to recover.

I had 2 sections and one operation with the same type of scar and all three times it got infected. Its not that its not being kept clean its just in such an arkward area with regards to trousers and pants.

One round of antibiotics was enough to sort it out while it got on with knitting back together.

Thankyou ladies, its feeling alot better after taking paracetamol, i neaarly threw up when i saw it, hopefully the anti's will work soon though
