of nursery equipment & shavers...................

Hi all. If u've read my previous post, u'll know that I had a crap week last week, with DH being rather too preoccupied with his work.Well, this weekend, I managed to drag him to Boots to take a look at all the various things we might need when Baby comes along. The range on display was enormous & I felt LOST!!!So with a list in hand, I stood in front of the baby feeidng section trying to find out what exactly I needed.
(I realise now how my students must be feeling when faced with their exams.) I turned to DH .......could he help? Here's what he said to me " Ill be over in that corner - there r half price shavers on display" SHAVERS? SHAVERS?? Oh I let loose all my pent up anger........"and are we going to make baby sleep in the cardboard box ur shaver comes in?" I shouted before storming out of the shop. Quite a few passers by were surprised!
I dont know who was more embarassed- me or DH!!!!!! But gals, it felt GOOD !!
So right now our 'nursery' still remains a computer room-cum-office. I hope my dear baby does not plan to come out anytime soon.
As far as nursery equipment goes.....well, MOthercare here I come......

I would go and buy the nicest most expensive stuff you can afford and when he questions it say well i did ask you too come and cos it's left so late i had to get what i saw

I think you should also pick up a few treats for yourself - just the essentials mind, like a footspa, a swinging nursing chair / footstool, a big bar of chocolate and tub of icecream..............
