I am sitting in the Waiting room. Baby is having a good wiggle. Will wait to see if the baby settles down before the scan, or we might have another naughty baby!
 
Was a wiggly baby!! Wouldnt stop moving.

Also, i am followinf the trend as of yesterdays results.

coach, I am with pips on the hypnobirthing thing. When I had my first son I didnt scream and shout neither lol I believe it's all in our own body controll... but be interested to read how you get on.

Claire, I hope everything went well at your appointment today.

I finally got my cardiac scan appointment. Gonna see joey again next Thursday. Fingers crossed he will behave for once and they wont find any abnormalities

Aw wow so cute!!! Congrats shooting star! The girls are catching up!

Yea I don't really know what to expect from the Hypnobirthing, but it's a free course in my hospital so I thought I may as well give it a shot, even if it helps a little bit. A lot of ladies that have done it only use gas and air, but I'm not going to rule anything out! Lol il keep an open mind xxx
 
Ah lots of team pinks, like you say catching up with the boys :)

I listened to a hypnobirthing CD when I was pregnant with my son and fell asleep every time I listened to it, I couldn't tell you what it said but I had a great labour and delivery all done on just 2 paracetamol so you never know it may have done something :) xxx
 
2 paracetamol!! Wow taffy you are a machine!! Fingers crossed it was something on the CD lol! Il have to practise getting myself in the zone haha! xxx

Vampys we are having a re-scan next Thursday to see our boy heart which he didn't want to show last time.

Hypnobirth you saying girls... i don't know why i had a vision of me being upsent and birth just happening, but if this is not a case and you are just more aware of your body then it may be something i will be interested in... need to google it later... 10 more little puppy collars to make and 1 Batman cat collar and i can relax :)

Haha cheers hun. Tbh I even amazed myself at how amazingly calm I was. I remember just thinking 'don't fight it, let your body do what it needs to' I also remember in my head saying to Max 'you get to where you need to and mummy will do the rest', like I said I have no idea whether it was the CD that helped. I will be doing the same this time in sheer hope it did help.

I also have a new obsession with cheese and crisp sandwiches! It has to be white bread, mature cheese and any flavour crisps but preferably Walkers! xxx
 
Hi girlies I'm back home from my appointment. Everything went well, if I need any pain relief injections then they will just avoid my bad area.
The journey home wasn't so good. I had to use another dog poop bag again :-(
 
Yes Kat deffo look it up, you can get a book and CD and some women swear by it, I only really take the reviews of people who had a non hypno birth followed by hypno birth as they actually know the difference! your not totally out of it or even hypnotised it's just about getting yourself in the right frame of mind and as you say being more aware of your body etc, could be total poppycock but il give anything a go!

Taffy sounds like you had the right attitude and frame of mind :) the midwife said it is the fighting it and fear and tense bodies make everything alot harder! And those sandwiches sound amazing!!! Yum!

Oh no Claire you poor thing, your really getting your money's worth out of those poop bags :( hope your feeling a bit better now your home! xxx

I haven't stopped shopping since my scan, the nappies and wipes have started going into my shopping basket too xx

I loved shopping today!! Was really weird being in the pink bit though haha. Felt all disoriented at first. Soon got the hang of it :D

I will also put my scan pic up later too! Xx
