Seriously the research for any thyroid related disease in this country is shocking, add pregnancy to the mix and it is a mess! Had an appointment today and the registra was so uneducated it was laughable! She was even contradicting what was said on our very own NHS website! Ugh and we are supposed to have faith in these people to get us safely through our pregnancies and to have healthy babies! I told her out right I have no faith in the system. we are going to be booking private scans later on in pregnancy to check blood flow to the baby but now I'm thinking I need to find a private obstetrician who has more of a clue to guide me through and so I can at least feel safe! Anyone else feel like they are not getting the right care?
