Listen to your body and be sensible. Carbohydrates are good for slow releases of energy lots of fruit and vegatables fish but check out guidelines ie no more than 2portions of tuna a week etc, have eggs but make them well cooked. And try and eat a varied diet. That said if you crave or want something don't deprive yourself. Eat lots of small snacks through the day and it's not like it's a cardinal sin to eat cake chips takeaway or chocolate but obviously is better if you don't eat tonnes all the time!. I think particularly at the first tri listen to your body if you are sick find foods that you can easily digest if this means eating lots of ready salted crisps do so just try and have fruit as well. X
