can't post pic at mo but we put up white wallpaper with little silver stars on and brightened it up with story book teddies, hungry caterpillar, spot, gruffalo etc.
I've seen a lovely starry wallpaper in mamas and papas and was thinking of doing a feature wall with it and then another similar dark/warm paint as the wall paper is a grey colour and I want it to feel warm and snug as the room is huge and then add colour through toys etc?
I was a bit worried that white wouls look too cold, but we have oak furniture and a cream carpet and it looks cosy and snug. The silver stars are small but there are lots of them so they look lovely when they catch the light. All the toys / teddies from books make it look brighter too wothout having too much of a theme
That is beautiful! Love the idea of having a chair in there to feed and read bedtime stories....wish our nursey was big enough for that. Cant post a pic of ours atm as all LO washing is hanging up in there haha. Its painted yellow with white furniture and white clare de lun stary bedding. Mam bought her a little white whicker chair and she has a lovely little coat stand in the corner. She isnt sleeping in there yet cos Im too scared not to have her by my side haha.
