No urge to pee?

I am nearly 3 weeks pp, and my urge to pee still hasn't returned. I've had to start setting alarms to remind myself otherwise I won't go from getting up in the morning to going to bed at night! I have no incontinence though which is good!

Was wondering if anybody else had experience of this?

Midwife told me it could take up to 8 weeks to return.

I had an epidural & forceps in theatre where a 12 hour catheter put in x

Yes I did have this to the point where I did worry a bit. I'd never need a wee, yet when I went I'd have loads! The good news is it did return. I don't recall how long it took though. Months rather than weeks. Probably I'd go so far saying 6 months to being 100%.

I had a catheter after birth. And some bruising. So don't know if that does affect things?

I'm so glad I just read this - I'm exactly the same and no one warned me to expect it. I had c section and catheter fitted.

Strange going from peeing all the time pregnant to hardly at all.

I had forceps and catheter but am complete opposite I feel like I need to pee all the time and I pee loads as well but midwife said was normal and should settle down x
