So had a consultant appointment today as I'd been put as high risk due to having scoliosis (curved spine). The consultant was happy with everything so far and doesn't think my spine will cause any issues. So they've put me back to low risk and said that will aim for a vaginal birth... Woohoo no cesarean! That means I can go in the birthing pool now!
Got to see the consultant and anaesthetist again at 32 weeks so they can take measurements of my spine for an epidural in case I need an emergency cesarean but fingers crossed I stay at low risk.
Such a relief!
