Nipple shields

Possibly a silly question but do u need to wind a baby after feeding with nipple shields?

I'd say absolutely. No matter how good a latch with breast or bottle I would always wind bubs.

She falls asleep once she's finished so I feel bad waking her. X

Bf babies in general don't have as much wind as bottle fed babies and nipple shields don't make a difference to this, so if she's asleep and not comfy then I wouldn't bother tbh. If you really want to try you could rub her back rather than pat it. X
