Nipple piercings

Hey ladies,

I've just been thinking.. I have both my nipples pierced and just wondered if anyone else has the same and tried breastfeeding?

I might just take mine out completely in a few month but I'm not too sure.

I had one of mine done but had to take it out after a few weeks into the pregnancy (previous pregnancy) as it was too irritating, I breastfed without a problem though x

I'm glad to hear you didn't have a problem! I was worried incase it would affect breastfeeding.

I'm thinking about taking mine out around 6-7 months. I've read there's more of a chance of mastitis by having piercings. Not sure whether this is true or not :/

I had to take mine out when I was 3-4 months gone as it was just unbearable xx

My auntie had a baby 6 weeks after me and breast fed, baby Oscar got mastitis and she doesn't have piercings.... Luck of the draw I think xx
