Newish in job and pregnant

I recently found out I was pregnant. I've been on a permanent contract with the job I am at now 2 months. With having an ectopic with my last pregnancy I need to have an early scan plus midwife appointment just a few weeks apart. Trying to figure out bed thing to say to boss. Trying to hold off telling them I'm pregnant til atleast closer to 12 week scan. As much as it would be less hassle telling them straight off I'm hesitant with being so early on and with what happened with the last pregnancy.

How far along are you now? Its understandable to want to keep it quiet until there is more certainty. I hope everything goes well with the pregnancy

Thats what I am thinking of especially for the scan as I think latest I could get was late afternoon. Waiting for them to get back to me. Not sure how late in the day they can be done.
