New scan date!

So excited, had a message from ultrasound department asking if I'd like to bring my scan date forward by a week! I'm waiting for them to call back as I left a message but looks like my scan will be 30th November! So I'll be 11+6! Can't bloody wait!

They must have had a cancellation as they sent me a letter on sat saying it was 7th December then called today asking to change so all I can think is someone cancelled. I must just be lucky x x

I have a scan booked for 30th nov but i have been slightly concerned about news about a strike that day. I have been googling today but cannot find out whats supposed to be happening. I think there was some vote last friday and now its going ahead. Supposed to affect some health professionals in nhs and some teachers (have 2 at school and one has a sch trip that day). I am sure we will be fine but grrrrr. Cannot see much info so tempted to ring scanning department. My husband had to put in special permission for day off as no one is allowed time off in nov/dec where he works.

They rang today to confirm the time, it will be 3.20 in the afternoon
Thanks for the info lefthanded, I would hope that if they were planning anything they would have let me know and not phoned me this morning to book me in! X x

Sounds brilliant if there was a hint they would have said so hopefully will be the same here. Just texted a friendly midwife who works up the hospital see if she has heard anything.

as far as i can gather from working in a hospital, its a nurses strike about pensions and stuff. Unfortunately were not allowed the day off for any reason and if we ring in sick we need a doctors note, very school like x
