New phone - iPhone 4, Sony Xperia or Samsung S3 mini?

I have an iPhone and while they are so user friendly I won't be getting another after this one, my oh has the Samsung S4 and it is fab, I've heard good things about the S3 also x

I've got the Nokia N8, which has an amazing camera but is a pile of shite.

I'd prefer the actual S3 or S4 (as opposed to the mini?)

Will see if they can do that for me.

I've always had Sony's but partly because I like to be different. Also I find they do a good range of different style phones. I have the Xperia mini pro at the moment which is two years old and still going strong, although would like to get a new one soon purely for app space. Will def continue to buy Sony though.

I have the normal size s3 and love it. I was going to get an iphone but was told by a lot of my friends that the screen cracks easily and I drop and knock my phone all the time :/ Love the S3 though x

I've got the iPhone 4S at the min, upgrading soon, but the thing with the screen is true, I dropped mine and the front totally smashed, had to have a whole new a screen, but the phone itself - can't fault it x

I loooove my Sony Xperia phone, it was a bit wider than any other phones I've had but you get used to it, and all the features totally make up for it. The camera is brilliant, far better than DH's iphone, and the very fact that it's waterproof means that LO can drool over it and stick it in her mouth (as she does!) without me worrying about it!! Definitely highly recommended xx

what did you get? I just got a S4. I had the iphone 4 before.

She S4 is brilliant for photos of the wee one. All the action shots and deleting background things that spoil a photo etc. I usually use "best photo" when trying to get one of her special smiles. With my old phone I usually missed them as didnt click fast enough

i love it!! (I didnt get the mini version as the camera is inferior, so if that is important to you too then maybe get the full size? it doesnt feel that big once you get used to it ) x

Camera is important but I usually take my actual digital camera out when we go out.

iPhone 4 is good but maybe a bit dated compared to the newer ones (4s and 5) and there will be some new ones soon. I would probably go with the S3 mini - although I hear there is going to be a cheaper "iPhone Light" this year which may be worth considering

I wouldn't get a iPhone 4 now as its getting slower and slower to use as the IOS and the apps are updated. They're taking up more processing power. Even the 4s is an improvement as it has a much quicker processor. To be honest check out the HTC one and the Samsung S4, both amazing phones and there are some great deals on them at the moment.
