Impatience

Hi all
I'm joining this forum now cos I can't wait to get reading about babies n stuff and also hoping to find someone else in the same position as me...
My husband and I are not going to start trying for a baby til October, for two reasons - We have a cycling holiday booked the first week of October and - I need to time the baby being born when my mum has retired as she is going to be looking after him/her when I go back to work....after my 6 mnths maternity.
Thing is, I feel so impatient about it - can't wait that long - can't stop thinking about babies now and looking at cots and prams etc....
Anyone else having to wait to conceive?
