we've annoyed the neighbours for the first time....

today I went out with my sister and Evie...so Rachel came to our house and parked her car across the road cos there was a big van parked outside my house...

anyway when we got back the lady across the road (where rachie had parked) had left a note on her windscreen saying "Please park your car outside the house you are visiting. I am an elderly pensioner and had 5 large bags of shopping to carry today and my gate was blocked by your car"

The car was miles away from her gate and even if it was blocking it she has 2 gates anyway so could have used the other one!!! And if she is an "elderly pensioner" she's doing well carrying 5 large bags of shopping cos I couldn't manage it and I'm only 30!

It's really peeved me off...it's not like we park there all the time and the car wasn't parked illegally and she doesn't own the fecking pavement... anyway rant over. (I'm not usually rude about elderly people!)

 People like this annoy me!

The road where I grew up had a man just like this, he was a 'hard' bloke and no one ever dared cross him. He always wanted his space on his front leaving free cos he had a work van that he parked outside. Everyone did as they were told  One day someone parked there, he knocked on loads of doors asking who's car it is and when he couldn't find the owner he actually bounced the car out with the help of a friend and left it in the middle of the street :rotfl: Then just parked his van like normal. Knob hehe

Try not to let it bother you, just make sure everytime your sister comes over she parks in front of the house.. just make it a bit closer to her gate

I hate people like this, we have a bit of a parking dispute when one of neighbours was a pr***. If he'd have been nicer about it I would've told him he left his lights on the other day...

Parking is my main bugbear and we paid extra for our house because of all the parking space we got, drives me up the wall so I totally sympathise.

I got told off by a old man the other day when I park my car up by my bosses house. She has said it is fine for me to park there as she lives there, and because where I work is a holiday town the parking is ridiculous! Its a good walk away from the town too but it is worth it for the money I save on parking. The old guy was stood in the middle of a narrow road with his car door wide open and his friend standing in the middle chatting to him! I stopped and waited for them to move and EVENTUALLY they did I smiled and said thankyou. Parked up and he was straight over "I'm gonna get your car clamped your not allowed to park there!!!" My boss knew who he was straight away she said she doesn't know why he bothers as he has two garages for his cars and hes just grump but he goes around scratching peoples cars if he doesn't know them!!!!

im just at the "bad look" stage with neighbours atm... lol mostly because ive been commin home between 3-6am with a rather loud car... try to come up the street as quiet as i can but its impossible lol

er, are you secretly my OH posting on here?

not only does he have a loud car, it's a turbo so "the engine has to cool down"... which translates to him having to wake everyone up with his car droning on for another 5 minutes

I did manage to convince him to take the dumpvalves off mind you... :cheer:

Luckily he only drives it a weekends- I refuse to get in it! Half the neighbours don't actually know it's our car yet.... :rotfl:

Don't get me started on neighbours, I have a selfish cow one side who thinks that the closest 2 spaces to my house are "her spaces" so I either have to park miles away or on the grass right outside her house (guess where I park  she HATES it haha)
It winds me up cos she hardly ever uses the one car (like once a week max) and the other car has sat there unused since NOVEMBER, yet I have 3 kids to get in and out the car 3 times a day and she'll let me struggle and carry the kids etc from miles away.

The other side is a weird old bloke who basically stole our cat and when I asked him to please stop feeding it he went on a rant about how I should lock the cat in the house cos when you let them out they get pneumonia!

my dad has a similar problem. His neighbour owns two cars, and their son owns one. My dad has a dropped kerb leading to his drive. his neighbour always parks over my dads drive, when all he needs to do is reverse up a bit!

then, someone a few doors down, parked over dads neighbours drive, and dads neighbour went out and put a note on the car saying to stop parking over his drive!!!! then had the cheek to knock on my dads door moaning about people parking over his drive!!!!!

if there is no car on the drive, you are allowed to park over the drive (my dad called someone up - police or council - to find out)...
