Ok, I don't normally do this, but I'm in need of some fellow mom advice. I have one beautiful little 3 yr old girl, almost 4. I've had multiple miscarriages since and we lost our 2nd baby girl last August due to some complications at 25 weeks. So...up to this point, my husband and I haven't quite been ready to try again. I don't think babies are a mistake but we had a woops moment and I've ended up pregnant. Which brings me to this point.
I'm nearly 5 weeks pregnant. My specialist says things look good for a natural cycle. I haven't told my husband yet. I'm nervous, beside myself, on pins and needles, but trying to stay calm.
For moms who are older and have lost a child or had multiple miscarriages, did you have a pregnancy that actually turned out ok? I won't know about progress of everything until we get the next round of blood work for P4 and HCG. I just need to have some reassurance that maybe this time will stick.

Hi hun and welcome!
Congrats on your bfp, must have been such a relief to see that second line after losing a baby so late in the previous pregnancy. I'm so sorry for your loss.
I had a loss at 12 weeks and fell pregnant again 12 weeks later, which resulted in my lovely DD2! I had had 3 miscarriages before I got to forty weeks with this one. Sadly, you can never predict a miscarriage but I'm keeping all my fingers crossed for a positive outcome!x

I had a lost at 24 weeks. My next pregnancy went fine. Was monitored more which help relieve some off my anxiety.
Just take one day at a time. I know so hard not to worry with everything you've been through. X

congrats on your bfp and a healthy pregnancy
