Well after years and years of disasterous presents given to me by DH for christmas, we have set each other a challenge, you have to get each other as many free presents as possible. However there are rules.

* It can be part of a 3 for 2 but it has to be free one and you have to be buying other 2 anyway
* It can be bogof but you have to be buying one already
* It can be free from a newspaper but it has to be you or friends/family regular paper
* It can be a voucher for a free item as long as voucher is cashed in
* You can enlist as much help as possible
* They are not allowed to be naf/downloadable/virtual

The money we would normally spend on each other is going to be spent in sales on something we really want.

this may not be what you are looking for, but why not do a voucher booklet?
You can be quite creative and original when designing it and it can be things like:

Voucher number 1
This voucher entitles you to a half an hour foot rub

Voucher number 2
This voucher entitles you to a 3 course meal of your choice (cooked at home obviously)

Voucher number 3
This voucher entitles you to a "get up for baby" free pass

It wont cost you any money as you can use bits and bobs around the house to make the booklet and your ideas are free and it can be quite funny too - you can even make it "sexual" if you want to....
