Hi all, I am hoping you can help. Hubby and I have just spent ages on the web trying to find the name of a TV programme he remembers from childhood (1980's). The theme tune was 'I need a hero', Bonnie Tyler and it was about a bloke who rode a motorbike, he thinks it was on on friday nights, and he also thinks it was american. Apparently the actor died whilst making the programme and so it wasn't a very long running show!! Does anyone know what he is talking about???
After a bit more web searching he is sure it was a programme called 'Cover Up', which turns out to be nothing to do with motorbikes but one of the lead characters, who ironically played a weapons specialist, killed himself by accident on set with a gun holding blanks!!
Just asked OH and he said 'cover up' straight away, then proceeded to tell me about the entire series - through one ear and straight out of the other. The bloke died whilst playing Russian Roulette. Isn't it amazing how blokes can remember all these things
Oh yeah! I remember this. Me and my Mum used to sit and watch it together on Friday nights while my Dad and brother went out. Loved it! Big crispy eighties hair! Bad but good but bad but good but bad.....
