Hi all.

I am new to this forum so hello!
It's so nice (if you know what I mean) to read other ladies worries because it makes me feel like I'm not quite as crazy as I think I am! Haha!

Over the last 5 years I have had 4 early miscarriages (earliest 5 weeks, latest 7+3-all natural)
In between the miscarriages we were TTC for a couple of years (between the first 2 and the last 2) both times!
This time I had NO idea I was pregnant til I was about 5+5 because I had a weird 9 day "bleed" that started the day AF was due! It wasn't proper red blood and not at all heavy, it was mainly brown blood actually. At the moment I am putting it down to implantation although 9 days is VERY long implantation isn't it??!! I only really tested because after the bleeding stopped my boobs were still quite sore and we wanted to book a holiday to Egypt for September (I would not want to go if I was 6 months pregnant!)
Anyway, sorry for waffling. I am waiting for my early scan which is booked for Friday 11th May (I will hopefully be 7+5 then)

I'm just sooooooooooooooooooo bloomin nervous! I haven't been sick, just had slight nausea and my sore boobs come and go all the time! Today I don't feel too bad at all. I have been quite over tired but nothing like you sometimes read about, where women say they could fall asleep at the desks at work!
I suppose I'm just after a sympathetic ear and some reassurance of sorts! It's just so hard isn't it?! Also I am 37 in 2 weeks time and feel like my time is running out (I have no children).

Help! :wall2:

By the way, congrats to all of you who are pregnant! :)

Hello lovely lady, how are you! Lovely to meet you! I am almost 8 weeks after 2 mc and terrified! Its so natural! xxx

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your pregnancy. Hoping for a sticky bean for you xxx

Hi Nicky,

Welcome and congratulations.

I am now almost 14 weeks pregnant after 3 miscarriages last year (at 8 weeks, 5 weeks and 6 weeks).

So miracles do happen

Did you undergo any tests for your recurrent miscarriages?

I had an early scan at 7w 1d, another private scan at 9w 5d and we just had our 12 week scan on Monday.

So far so good, so try to stay positive.

I know there a few ladies on here that have had multiple losses and are either now heavily pregnant or have a little one

xxxxxxxxxx

Hi Hun and welcome! Like carnat I have had 3 miscarriages (7,5&5) all last year. Now I am 14+3 and all is well so far. I hope this is a sticky bean for you. Big hugs. Xxx

aww thank you for the replies ladies!
I really feel like my head is going to explode!
Today especially I don't really feel pregnant! I managed to lie on my tummy in bed this morning which i haven't been able to do for the last couple of weeks coz my boobs were too sore! I only have a tiny bit of nausea (and that might just be coz i haven't had any breakfast yet!)
It's sending me craaaaazy!

CARNAT22 - yeah i've had loads of tests. There's nothing wrong with my blood, everything's come back normal! I am also under the fertility clinic becaause I had 2 periods where I couldn't get pregnant for 2 years or more!!!!! This pregnancy has been a 15 month wait since my last miscarriage in Dec 2010. I've had 3 cycles of IUI and was in the process of waiting to be referred for IVF!!!!

I just think that if this goes wrong I won't be able to handle going through it again. I've already looked into adoption!

Thank you for your kind messages. Just got to TRY to stay positive I suppose. Only 5 days til my scan when i'll know either way and can try to move on whatever the outcome!
Good luck to you all :)

Oh bless you Nicky, having recurrent miscarriages is hard enough without having trouble actually conceiving as well.

We too had all of tests and they came back clear, our losses were unexplained. Which at least meant there was no glaryingly obvious problems preventing me staying pregnant.

I hope this early scan goes some way to reassuing you that all is well with this bean hun.

I have had no symptoms at all (even now!!) but I have seen belly bean 3 times so I know all is OK!

Best of luck to you and keep us updated

Thank you so much hunny. Isn't it just the worst time ever?! We should be enjoying it but its impossible to! I'm pleased everything seems good with your little bean. Just shows you don't always have symptoms either. Fingers crossed for my scan on Friday! Just wish i could go to sleep and wake up Friday morning. Haha. Take care lovely xxx

Keep yourself distracted hun and Friday will soon be here! I'll be checking in for your update sweetie

Hi ladies. Quick update. I have had some very minor bleeding the last couple of days. Feel totally gutted but just trying to wait for scan on Friday so i know for definite. I might feel ok with the small amount of bleeding if it wasn't for the constant low down tummy pains! I'mnot hugely positive to be honest. Just want to know. As i type there's no bleeding but i keep expecting it to start heavily! Will let you know Friday what the outcome is. Keep everything crossed for me please! Xxx

Sorry to hear this Nicky hun,

I truly hope it isn't what you think it is????

Fingers and toes crossed for you tomorrow

I hope no news is good news hun!

Hiya. Sorry not been back. Unfortunately it was even worse news than we thought! I had a live ectopic pregnancy and had to have an emergency op on Friday afternoon to remove my baby and my left tube! :-( I am still feeling very sore and battered n bruised from the op but not sure its really hit me emotionally yet. I only cried very briefly when they were telling me what could go wrong during the op!!!!!! But since the op, nothin! Think we're both still in shock. It all happened so fast! Thank you so much for asking though. Just got to get througb this and stay positive! Hopefully one day i might have some good news tobring here! Best wishes to you all with your pregnancies xxx

Jesus,

You poor, poor thing!

Thankfully it was spotted early otherwise it could have been even worse!

It will take a long time to come to terms with this I know, but your positive outlook will serve you well, I hope next time is a sticky for you!

In the immediate future make sure you rest as much as you can and be good to yourself

xxxxxxx

sorry to hear ur sad news lovely my thoughts are with u and ur partner at this sad time (((hugs))) xxx

Nicky, I'm so sorry you have had to go through this, I myself had a live ectopic (my 2nd loss) removed (6th May 2011), I know what you mean about not seeming to grieve. I went in at 6w after a 5 day bleed, nothing was seen on scan, had bloods 48 hrs later more bloods they were rising, had 3 more scans nothing seen and alot more bloods still rising, so at 9w they took me in for an emergency laparoscopy to have a look around. I literally had a call on the morning telling me i needed a laparoscopy (i was at work) and had to go to the hospital, got there and finally went down about 3pm, they found that the pregnancy was in my right tube, and they had to remove part of my tube and decided to perform a d&c aswell. After this i fell pregnant again in the september but unfortunately lost the baby, but thankfully my dh and i got another bfp on NYE, please keep positive and dont feel bad for not grieving your loss, it is a scary time having an operation and i know it can take a while for the information to digest. I did cry when i awoke from the anaesthetic but that was me being glad it was all over, i felt terrible that i hadnt grieved our loss, but i asure you it is normal x x fx for a ore positive future for you x x
