Name opinions!

Hi all,

I'm 27+3 with my second girl and now we are deciding on names.( 4d scan to double check next week!!) my 16 month old is called Ashley Jennifer....

We have been stuck on girls names as our tastes are completely different. This time has been hard to come up with something we both like and we think we have it now - I'm just a little nervous as I think it won't be very well liked by others! I wondered what you ladies thought about it! You can be honest as I know it's not exactly common for a girl!!!

So middle name is Averil (a family name)

First name we are thinking "Cameron" although we will likely call her Cam or Cammie for short.

I guess the only other person I can think of with this name is Cameron Diaz. So it's not completely unheard of but not common either. We quite like it's androgynous like Ashley... The other birth certificate alternative would be Camilla but i don't think I like this as much as reminds me of Prince Charles wife!

I like Cameron for a girl , it's a little different and won't be common in school ... Out of your shortened versions I think I prefer cam x

Cameron is a lovely name! I like Averil too but to be honest I'm not English-speaking so I wouldn't recognise it as more for a girl or for a boy.

I like Cameron for a girl and cammie is a cute nickname. I lived in France for a few years and knew a few girls called Camille, pronounced cammie. I'm not keen on camilla at all and like you think of prince Charles wife x
