Hi all, I'm not a regular poster on here, due to unreliable internet access at home, i do however read posts from time to time and have posted in the past and have recieved fab support!
Anyway, i'm slightly concerned, i'm coming up to 26 weeks pregnant and yet i'm worried that my bump is small. My midwife says it's height is at the right level but i can't help but compare to other women around the same stage as me!
I'm going to post a pic taken last nght (after a Chinese take away, so not sure if belly is food or baby) to see what you think.

You have a lovely neat bump - i know where you are coming from but everyone is different and i think you're build has a lot to do with your bump size..
I am 19wks tomorrow and my bump is hardly showing at all - i sometimes think there's something wrong but i know deep down it will come to light sooner rather than later -
If the midwife says everything is ok then i wouldn't worry - it looks great !- think i can c a wee spring roll in there :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hun your bump looks fab and as Loulabele has said, if the MW says everything is ok then it will be just fine  I totally understand where your coming from though as Im 18 weeks tomorrow and havent started showing yet..I started panicking about it yesterday and grabbed my doppler, hearing the heartbeat soon put my mind at rest..but yea, everybodys bumpage grows at a different pace. You look just fabby :D

youve a cute bump hun i do agree with the others if midwive says all is fine then all will be ok

Thanks both of you. It's amazing what daft things you find to worry about when you're pregnant...i think i'd be worried if i didn't have anything to worry about!!

I too, didn't have a bump at 18 weeks, infact, the little that i have, has only started to develop in the last week or so...before that i think i was paranoid that people would just think i'd eaten to many turkey sandwiches over xmas (which i had!! ) So i think thats why i want a bigger bump, just to stop pople having those sorts of thoughts!!

And as for seeing a spring roll...i'm suprised you cant see a bag of prawn crackers, some sweet and sour chicken balls, some egg fried rice...god i'm getting hungry again!!

Thanks Sweetpea, i know i'm just being daft! Forums like this definitely help though as you know you're not alone!

We've just had a different internet server conncted so fingers crossed i will be able to access this site more often now!

xx

Yea - get your ass on more often :D - I hope I have a gawjus bump like yours soon :D

I think i'm going to have o start a getting to know you all thread or something similar...as i feel like a new girl at school!! I shall have to start nosing back at some of the more recent threads aswel!!
Oh and i'm not sure my bump will look so great when the tattoo i got at 16 (a red devil with a nappy sat on a cloud  ) starts taking over the whole of my stomach!!! It may hide any stretch marks i might get though i supose!!

xx

Thats a lovely bump! My bump isn't huge by any means and i am a lil bump envious at nearly 24 weeks but aslong as your midwife says baby is growing properly then dont worry :D

Your bump is fab :D dont worry with my first baby i did not tell my mum i was pregnant untill i was 23 weeks, i used to spend about 3 afternoons a week with her too and she did not notice either  my daughter was born at 42 weeks weighing a healthy 7lb 13oz.
Our bumps all grow at different rates so if your midwife is happy try not to worry.

Everyone is different, and so will show their bumps different. You to me look like you have a fab and gorgeous bump (with a figure to match) so enjoy it :D

Your bump is so lovely! :D I'm 25 weeks and mine is double the size, but I'm so uncomfortable all the time lol! If your MW says all is good with baby then I wouldn't worry. Every bump is different and the shape of your womb and position baby is in will have an effect on your bump. I'd make th most of still being able to move about easily :) xxx

Yeah me too Ally, my bump seems to have just sprouted, but this is my second, thats my excuse, not the fact ive been eating faaaaaaar too much

Honey, there is nothing wrong with that cute bumpage of yours at all, its lovely, we all 'bump' out in all shapes and sizes and different stages; you will probably have a massive growth spurt soon and wonder where it suddenly all came from!!!

your bumps fab :) , my friend had a really small bump till she was 30 weeks then got really big all of a sudden and gave birth to a healthy 9lb 10oz baby

Thanks for all the replies...you're all lovely!!

Jaidy and Allycat, do you have pictures of your bumps, they sound gorgeous...probably the sort of bump i'm aspiring to have!! Isn't Holly Willoboughy around the same stage aslo, i saw the magazine she was in this week...how gorgeous is her bump aswel?!

sarah, thats what people keep saying to me...just wait, then overnight, a massive bump will just appear and then i'll be worried about giving birth to a giant baby!!

xx
