Noah 36+3.jpg

Had my growth scan today due to more reduced movement.
All is fine from the scan, I have a not so little baby inside me!!

DRUM ROLL..........................

Hes currently 3.35kg which is about 7lb 5 lol! I know its just an estimate, but with me and OH being 6ft i cant see it being very far off!

His BPD is measuring 39+6!!
HC 37+6
AC 38+5
FL 39+3

BIG BOY!!!!

God help me when i have to push lol.

I have a consultant appointment Monday to discuss options on what they want to do from there.
Scan was ok tho, and so not sure if they will consider an induction due to the measurements or just see how it goes!..

But yes, thought id update you :) xxx

Goshhhh he weighs more then my monkey! And she hasn't put any weight on since 35+5, I'm 37+5 and had my growth today. And she's 6lb 2oz x

Ekkk big boy indeed, thatl make ur eyes water lol. Good luck for Mon x

I dont think 7lb 5 is normal really for 36wks! So your little lady might be the perfect weight when she decides to come out :)
Were they concerned about her hun??xx

Yeah they've been concerned with her weight since my first growth scan at 31+5. So been having them every 2 weeks..
But she's measuring under the 10th centile on my growth chart. But everyone has there own personalised growth chart depending on their height, weight & BMI. So for me she's small hun x

Aw lovely picture! Wow that really is a big boy! Good luck with that :) xx

Big baby indeed babyslog, hopefully Noah won't make you wait until 42 weeks.

LouiseH - the personalised growth chart that all drs seem to base everything on are pretty much the same for everyone. I have looked into it in a bit of detail as I also have a small baby, you can actually access them on-line, and basically to be giving birth to babies below around 7lbs at term I would need to be under 5feet tall and weight less than 6 stones. Yet babies can be born weighing 6lbs at term and be perfectly normal and when grown up be a normal size etc. For the chart to be significantly different for my weight I would need to be 7feet tall.

I had a scan yesterday and a week ago and the doctor I saw then wasn't overly interested in the personalised chart whereas the two drs I'd previously seen were only looking at that chart rather than the whole trend over all the scans. I sometimes think that they are over analysing things although its nice to have a quick peep at baby every week and generally feel like baby is being monitored. x

I also had a scan measuring big baby. Did they say anything what's the plan of action?
